Storytellers for Mixte is an extensive fashion editorial series that shifts between cinematic nocturnal streetscapes and raw, coastal landscapes. The collection utilizes a distinct visual language of chiaroscuro lighting and desaturated natural daylight to ground its subjects within stark, architectural, and arid environments. Photographer Léa Wormsbach collaborates with fashion editor Julia Quante to construct a narrative around mobility and introspection, often centering on vintage automobiles and rugged, volcanic terrain. The styling leans heavily into tactile contrasts, pairing oversized leather outerwear and tailored suiting with intricate knitwear and structural drapery. With beauty direction by hair stylist Roku Roppongi and makeup artist Anne Timper, the series features models Billie Kennes, Momo Ndiaye, and Pleun Keijsers. The imagery is defined by a grounded, observational tone, favouring earthy palettes and subtle filmic textures.
