Runaway Bride is a fashion editorial series produced for Mixte, featuring a contemporary interpretation of traditional bridal aesthetics. The project juxtaposes classic ivory tulle, lace, and sheer fabrics against both minimalist studio environments and raw, urban architectural settings. Photography by Lala Serrano leans into a clean, tactile aesthetic, utilizing high-contrast monochrome and natural sunlight to emphasize textile depth. Fashion direction by Sam Ranger grounds the ethereal bridal motifs in modern silhouettes, blending structured tailoring, oversized knitwear, and streetwear-inflected layering. The production features model Astrid Østergaard, with hair styling by Tomoko Ohama and makeup by Dariia Day. Casting by Clare Rhodes and manicures by Sylvie Vacca complete the production, which is captured primarily on analogue film to achieve a nuanced, textured visual finish.
