RUNAWAY BRIDE for Mixte magazine recontextualizes traditional bridal tropes through a contemporary, high-fashion lens. Photographed by Lala Serrano, the editorial series explores the tension between classic white textiles and urban, avant-garde silhouettes, alternating between sterile, seamless studio settings and raw, textured city backdrops. Fashion Director Sam Ranger leads the creative direction, pairing intricate lace, sheer tulle, and structured tailoring with unexpected elements like oversized puffers, faux fur, and leather accessories. The production features model Astrid Østergaard, with hair styling by Tomoko Ohama and makeup by Dariia Day. Through a mix of soft studio illumination and crisp natural light, the series emphasizes material contrast and tactile detail. The production was supported by casting director Clare Rhodes and manicurist Sylvie Vacca, resulting in a cohesive editorial study.
