Miu Miu
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Jan 2024
The Miu Miu Spring 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away the noise to prioritize the interplay between texture, form, and accessory. Under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada and Edward Quarmby, the campaign leans into a rigorous, high-key aesthetic that frames the collection against a stark white studio backdrop. Photographer Zoë Ghertner captures the imagery with a clinical yet deeply tactile lens, utilizing studio strobe lighting to emphasize the rich grains of leather, the structure of tailored suede, and the intricate beadwork of statement vests. The visual narrative relies on a recurring split-frame composition, which offers a multidimensional portrait of the subjects, including Emma Corrin, Cailee Spaeny, and Angel Haze. By pairing serious, direct gazes with the playful, deliberate styling of Lotta Volkova—who introduces unexpected pops of color and textured layering—the project manages to bridge the gap between commercial product focus and high-fashion portraiture. Each frame is meticulously balanced, ensuring the Miu Miu branding remains central while allowing the personality of the models to shine through a clean, modern filter. The resulting work is a polished, consistent study in luxury fashion branding that proves the most effective statements are often the ones delivered with the most restraint and precision.
