Forged in Form is a sprawling fashion editorial series published in Mia Le Journal, exploring the intersection of high fashion and minimalist still life photography. Through a curated collection of diptychs and multi-panel layouts, the project features a synthesis of structured apparel, luxury leather goods, and unexpected, raw culinary props. Photographer Roberta Krasnig captures the collection against neutral studio backdrops, employing soft light to emphasize the textures of both the garments and the curated objects. Art direction by Federica Trotta and set design by Alina Totaro anchor the series in a clean, graphic aesthetic, utilizing metallic elements and geometric furniture to frame the subjects. Styling by Francesca Ottaviani balances classic pieces like the Gucci Horsebit bag with intricate details, such as lace-hemmed dresses and patterned silk scarves. The series is defined by a clean, minimalist approach that highlights both portraiture and product photography, maintaining a cohesive visual narrative across every spread.
