MIRAGE is a fashion editorial series for Mia Le Journal, captured in an arid desert environment. The project leans into a cinematic, documentary-style narrative, utilizing natural light and an earthy, desaturated color palette to frame structured garments against vast sandy terrain and nomadic elements. Photographer Riccardo Vimercati uses analogue film techniques to emphasize raw textures and grainy desert landscapes. Fashion editor and stylist Carola Bianchi complements the setting with layered, tailored outerwear and minimal accessories, worn by model Maja Zimnoch. The editorial layout frequently employs diptychs and split-panel compositions to juxtapose wide-angle environmental shots with intimate, detailed portraiture.
