Romance & Ritual is an editorial series for Man About Town that leans into a cinematic, high-contrast aesthetic. Across a series of portraits, the project explores the interplay between dark interior environments and layered, tactile garments. The visual language relies heavily on low-key lighting and chiaroscuro techniques to accentuate the rich textures of leather, vinyl, and tailored suiting against heavy curtained backdrops. Captured by photographer Alfonso Anton Cornelis, the editorial features fashion styling and editing by Luke Day. The project showcases model Mattia Liam in various, deliberate poses, with hair styling by Erisson Musella, makeup by Ricky Morandin, and casting by Paul Isaac.
