Romance & Ritual, an editorial fashion series for Man About Town, explores themes of intimacy and composure through a series of stark, cinematic portraits. Shot by photographer Alfonso Anton Cornelis, the project leans into a moody, low-key aesthetic that prioritizes high-contrast textures and deep tonal shadows. The series features model Mattia Liam, among others, styled by Luke Day in a selection of structured tailoring, leather, and sheer layering. The execution employs dramatic lighting techniques to accentuate the materiality of the wardrobe, set against minimalist, draped studio backdrops. The project reflects a precise, polished approach to contemporary menswear editorial, with hair by Erisson Musella and makeup by Ricky Morandin.
