For Man About Town, photographer Vincent van den Dries and stylist Jan Bries present In the garden, we grew wild., an expansive menswear fashion editorial that explores the intersection of refined tailoring and rustic, organic environments. The story channels a tactile, layered approach to style, featuring an eclectic mix of textured knitwear, heavy leathers, and avant-garde patterns set against woodland cabins, garden ponds, and dense forest landscapes. Throughout the series, the styling leans into a blend of structured silhouettes—including double-breasted overcoats, tweed suits, and tailored blazers—juxtaposed with playful, unconventional elements like stilts and rope swings. With performances by models Rishi Robin, Sandra Govers, Jos Schenk, and Marnix Eyckmans, the project utilizes soft, dappled natural light to highlight the raw, earthy textures of the garments and the surrounding timber architecture, alternating between moody monochrome and warm, saturated palettes.
