MODÈLE SCANDINAVE for M Le magazine du Monde is an extensive fashion editorial exploring sculptural silhouettes and tactile contrasts. Photographer Mikael Jansson frames the project across two distinct environments: the raw, windswept landscapes of a rocky coastline and the clinical precision of a white studio backdrop. Under the creative direction of Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone, the visuals lean into a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic. Fashion editor Malina Joseph Gilchrist curates a wardrobe defined by heavy knits, structured leathers, and layered lace, effectively marrying soft, natural lighting with the gritty texture of the Scandinavian terrain. The shoot makes frequent use of monochrome and analogue film techniques to emphasize form, drape, and the interplay between light and shadow. Featuring hair styling by Louis Ghewy and natural makeup by Karin Westerlund, the series maintains a consistent focus on raw detail and high-contrast composition.
