Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Jan 2025
The Spring 2025 campaign for Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami arrives as a masterclass in the synthesis of high-fashion editorial prestige and vibrant, contemporary pop-art sensibilities. Captured through the lens of legendary photographers Inez and Vinoodh, the visuals feature Zendaya in a series of dynamic, light-drenched settings that oscillate between the structured industrialism of a white metal roller coaster track and the expansive, blurred horizons of an urban park. Under the keen eye of creative director Lina Kutsovskaya, the project masterfully balances luxury fashion houses heritage with the whimsical, signature floral motifs that defined the storied Murakami collaboration. Stylist Law Roach curates a look that feels both grounded and aspirational, while hair artist Ursula Stephen and makeup artist Raoul Alejandre refine the aesthetic to allow the complex, graphic-heavy compositions to remain anchored by an intimate portrait quality. The execution relies heavily on sophisticated VFX and visual effects, seamlessly blending live-action technique with layered 3D render and CGI elements to bring the iconic monogram and animated floral characters into the frame. This commercial endeavor transcends traditional advertising by treating each image as a curated piece of digital graphic art, resulting in a cohesive narrative that feels as much like an experiential exploration of brand identity as it does a celebration of heritage and modern pop culture.
