Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton x Alex Israel Cologne ...

Aug 2026
The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Alex Israel for this fragrance campaign perfectly captures the intersection of luxury perfumery and nostalgic coastal culture. In a series of highly stylized images, photographer Peter Langer translates the ethereal essence of the scent collection into a visual language that feels both playful and refined. The campaign centers on a recurring motif of miniature vintage station wagons, or surf woodies, which serve as the perfect vessel for the collection's vibrant, gradient-hued perfume bottles. By incorporating elements of editorial minimalism, the project elevates the product to art, with each bottle mirroring the soft, sunset-inspired color palettes of the background gradients. Set designer Nicola Scarlino meticulously crafts these miniature worlds, ensuring that the interplay between the polished glass bottles and the monogram-embossed wood panels of the toy vehicles remains the focus. Through the use of expert studio strobe lighting and cinematic framing, the images achieve a pristine clarity that highlights the textures of glass, wood, and light. This commercial endeavor successfully leans into a dreamlike West Coast aesthetic, using 3D render and CGI techniques alongside traditional photography to evoke a sense of sun-drenched, carefree luxury that defines the essence of the Pacific-inspired fragrance line, resulting in a cohesive and deeply evocative visual narrative for the heritage brand.
