Like Moths Around a Flame for AnOther Magazine is a sweeping editorial series that explores the sculptural possibilities of the human form. Photographed by Larissa Hofmann, the project navigates between stark, high-contrast monochrome studio portraits and fluid, light-drenched outdoor scenes. Each frame leans into a tactile interplay of textures, contrasting raw, organic environments with the deliberate structure of high-fashion garments. The editorial team, led by fashion stylist Raphael Hirsch, builds a series of surrealist and intimate tableaus. The imagery frequently employs analogue film to ground the compositions in a grainy, moody atmosphere, further enhanced by the set design of Afra Zamara and precision hair and makeup from Kiyoko Odo and Crystabel Efemena Riley. Through careful casting by Lisa Dymph Megens, the project maintains a focus on silhouette and movement, resulting in a cohesive visual study that oscillates between architectural rigidity and natural softness.
