Le Kilt’s Autumn Winter 2025 collection, documented in Nairn, draws inspiration from the rugged coastal landscape and traditional Scottish textile craftsmanship. Through an atmospheric series of editorial portraits and documentary-style frames, the imagery emphasizes tactile knitwear, pleated tweeds, and classic silhouettes set against the moody backdrop of the Scottish coast. Photographer Robbie Lawrence employs an observational approach, utilizing analogue film and natural light to capture the collection’s connection to its environment. The aesthetic is defined by its grainy texture, low-key lighting, and deliberate use of monochrome and earthy tones. Makeup artistry by Verity Cumming complements the quiet, contemplative mood of the project, focusing on understated, clean beauty that centers the focus on garment details and the surrounding terrain.
