Description

For its Fall 2024 cosmetics campaign, Hermes leans into a masterclass of restraint, marrying the tactile luxury of the house with an elevated, editorial perspective on modern beauty. Captured by photographer Agnes Lloyd-Platt, the series utilizes a precise mix of studio strobe lighting and soft natural light to emphasize the rich, saturated pigments of the collection’s lipsticks and eyeshadows. The campaign functions as a cohesive exploration of color and texture, anchored by a sophisticated palette of deep navy, terracotta, and warm cognac. Through tight, macro portraiture and intentional composition, the visuals highlight both the subtle grain of leather garments and the natural, radiant skin of the models—Fatou Ndoye, Jade Eliasek, and Ji Shuyan. The aesthetic remains resolutely minimalist, allowing the precise artistry of makeup artist Gregoris Pyrpylis and the nuanced styling of Laetitia Leporcq to take center stage. Supported by the impeccable hair styling of Tomoko Ohama and detailed work by manicurist Liza Papass, each frame feels like an intimate study of form and pigment. The result is a refined, high-end beauty campaign that avoids the noise of traditional advertising, opting instead for a quiet, contemplative visual language that feels perfectly aligned with the timeless, luxury-driven heritage of the Hermes brand.
