Sanjivi Obrisi Pastela is a beauty editorial series commissioned for Harper's Bazaar Serbia. Photographed by Fernando Gomez, the project explores the interplay between delicate pigment application and minimalist studio portraiture. The series features tight, macro-focused compositions that highlight artistic cosmetic gradients. Utilizing soft, diffused lighting against clean, neutral backgrounds, the work emphasizes precise blending techniques across the eyelids, temples, and brow bones. The imagery leans into a contemporary aesthetic, pairing subtle pastel palettes of lilac, sky blue, and mint with starkly contrasted lip tones. Technically, the execution relies on clean beauty lighting to prioritize skin texture and color harmony. Occasional use of translucent light flares and subtle color overlays adds a graphic, ethereal dimension to the otherwise traditional studio approach.
