Where the streets have no name

Description

For Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, photographer Alex Salinas and Editor-in-Chief Majo Guzman present 'Where the streets have no name,' a menswear editorial that channels an atmospheric, industrial narrative. The project leans into a raw, documentary aesthetic, juxtaposing tailored suiting—ranging from intricate quilted smoking jackets to oversized, pinstriped double-breasted ensembles—against the stark geometry of concrete overpasses, chain-link fencing, and graffiti-marked pillars. Throughout the series, the visual language relies on soft natural light and a crisp, high-contrast monochrome grade. By blending studio elements like portable seamless paper with weathered, outdoor architectural structures, the work highlights a focus on tactile fabric textures and contemplative, low-key portraiture.
