Alto Contraste is an editorial series for Harper's Bazaar Mexico featuring model Athiec Geng. The project explores bold color palettes and architectural fashion, captured through a clean, studio-focused lens that emphasizes sculptural silhouettes and high-contrast styling. Photographed by JuanKr with fashion editing and styling by Caterina Ospina Buitrago, the series relies on analogue film techniques to build its aesthetic. The work balances sharp, graphic compositions with softer, intimate portraiture, utilizing varied lighting setups—from clean studio beauty light to evocative chiaroscuro—to highlight intricate garment details and textures. The production includes hair styling by Jesus De Paula and makeup by Antonio Romero, rounding out a minimalist approach that brings focus to the interplay of form and color.
