Alto Contraste is a fashion editorial series produced for Harper's Bazaar Mexico, showcasing a series of striking studio portraits and full-length studies. Photographed by JuanKr, the project channels a minimalist aesthetic, frequently utilising analogue film techniques and intentional lighting shifts to explore volume and texture. The editorial features model Athiec Geng, whose versatile presence is elevated by the fashion styling of Caterina Ospina Buitrago. The imagery leans into a clean, graphic sensibility, juxtaposing sculptural silhouettes and bold, saturated color palettes against neutral seamless backgrounds. Hair by Jesus De Paula and makeup by Antonio Romero complete the look, drawing on everything from sharp beauty light to gritty chiaroscuro effects to define the subjects' features.
