Memorie Stratificate is a fashion editorial produced for Harper's Bazaar Italia, centring on the interplay between structured tailoring and organic, tactile layers. The project features model Yar Aguer in a series of compositions that navigate between the starkness of a studio environment and the dense, moody atmosphere of woodland settings. Photographer Annie Powers frames the editorial with a focus on dramatic silhouettes, utilizing both sharp, direct lighting to accentuate leather textures and diffused, soft light to highlight wool and faux-fur elements. Fashion editor and stylist Maria Giulia Riva curates a wardrobe defined by expansive outerwear, oversized knits, and sculptural accessories, creating a narrative that feels grounded yet distinct. The execution leans into a minimalist aesthetic, often utilising monochrome palettes and clean backgrounds to draw attention to the garment construction. Supporting the visual narrative are hair styling by Tosh and makeup by Marie Dufresne, which maintain a consistent, polished finish across both the studio and outdoor locations.
