Captured for Harper's Bazaar France, the EN PISTE editorial series explores the interplay between high-performance ski aesthetics and modern architectural design. Photographer Iñigo Awewave leans into a minimalist visual language, juxtaposing structured winter outerwear and tactile knitwear against warm-toned plywood panels and clean studio backdrops. The series features model Ruiyi Zhang, whose presence is defined by a series of polished, avant-garde silhouettes. With fashion styling by Anita Szymczak, the wardrobe ranges from exaggerated shearling vests and quilted jackets to refined ribbed knits, all unified by a sharp, graphic sensibility. The execution relies on soft ambient lighting and careful negative space to emphasize textural details, from heavy wool balaclavas to smooth leather accessories. Contributing to the final look are hair stylist Yuji Okuda, makeup artist Cécile Paravina, and manicurist Melvyn Renaud, with set design by Jeanne Briand.
