Description

Le Look Bazaar : Grands Classiques Revisités is a fashion editorial series for Harper's Bazaar France. The project explores the intersection of traditional tailoring and contemporary volume, featuring a series of studio-based portraits and outdoor imagery. Captured by photographer Thomas Cristiani with creative direction from Franck Durand, the work leans into minimalist aesthetics and clean compositions. Stylist Anita Szymczak emphasizes architectural silhouettes, ranging from structured trench coats and pinstripe suits to voluminous crinoline overlays and sculptural knitwear. Art direction by Lise de Martino and Anaïs Mesmacque grounds the series, which utilizes a blend of soft studio lighting and moody, natural light set against dense garden foliage. Models Achol Kuir and Mary Ukech anchor the editorial, which makes use of analogue film techniques to highlight garment textures and nuanced layering.
