Captured for HardCOPY Magazine, this editorial feature titled Hannah leans into a dynamic blend of high-contrast studio portraiture and raw, outdoor captures. Photographer and creative director Nick Thompson shapes a narrative that alternates between stark, graphic minimalism against clean seamless backdrops and the gritty, textured atmosphere of urban rooftops. The visual language oscillates between polished chiaroscuro lighting and the tactile, authentic aesthetic of analogue film frames. The series showcases a diverse range of silhouettes and fabrications, from structured tailored jackets and sheer lace to voluminous tulle and ornate feathered headpieces. Fashion editor and stylist Christopher Maul curates a wardrobe that emphasizes sculptural volume and saturated accents. The project is rounded out by detailed makeup artistry from Phoebe Walters, with casting by Svea Greichgauer and manicures by Sabrina Gayle, all overseen by editor-in-chief Alexandra Georgette Oley.
