Grazia International: Dark Waters

Dark Waters is a fashion editorial series for Grazia International, defined by a focus on structural silhouettes and tactile material contrast. Led by creative director Dane Stojanovic and photographer Jack Waterlot, the series moves through a spectrum of studio lighting, from high-contrast chiaroscuro to soft, even diffusion. The imagery captures model Lily Chapman in a variety of high-fashion ensembles, ranging from sheer lace and feathered outerwear to sculptural, fan-pleated gowns. Techniques such as intentional motion blur and subtle analogue film grain add a sense of movement and texture to the otherwise minimalist compositions. Grooming by hair stylist Jean-Luc Amarin and makeup artist Anna Sadamori anchors the project in a polished, editorial aesthetic.
