GQ South Africa presents Pièce de Résistance, a series of editorial spreads showcasing contemporary menswear. Through a sequence of studio captures, the project explores sculptural silhouettes and textured apparel, ranging from denim and fringe to structured leather outerwear. Photographer Adriano Artexcellence employs a clean, minimalist approach to the framing, utilizing natural light and monochromatic color grades to highlight the form. Makeup artist Suna Myles maintains a sharp, understated aesthetic across the imagery, while model Bekanty Allou Kakou features as the central subject throughout the series. The work leans into editorial techniques to emphasize the raw textures of the garments.
