FEARLESS FLIGHT is a fashion editorial series for GQ Portugal, brought to life through the lens of photographer Stewart Bryden. The project captures a series of contemplative portraits and dynamic street-style shots, juxtaposing surreal elements like feathered angel wings and metallic armor against both minimal indoor settings and weathered urban backdrops. Bryden employs a varied visual language that shifts between gritty, high-contrast monochrome and warm, natural daylight. The styling balances contemporary dark tailoring and high-gloss textures with soft, tactile knitwear, creating a narrative of movement and poise. The work leans into chiaroscuro and moody lighting techniques, occasionally incorporating raw, grainy aesthetics reminiscent of traditional film.
