Strike A Pose is a fashion editorial produced for GQ Portugal, showcasing a series of stark, high-contrast portraits that explore architectural form and dynamic movement. The project features model Gabriel Nhial interacting with sculptural props and minimalist studio settings to emphasize the texture and design of the apparel. Photographer Silvia Draz captures the collection using an analogue / film aesthetic, employing low-key / chiaroscuro lighting to draw out deep shadows and sharp silhouettes. The styling, led by fashion editor Sandra Sole, complements this approach with a focus on geometric garments and layered textiles, resulting in a series defined by its raw, monochromatic visual language.
