GQ Portugal's '70s Stakeout' is a cinematic fashion editorial that leans into the moody, noir-inspired aesthetics of the 1970s. Captured by photographer Cody Lidtke and styled by fashion editor Charlie Ward, the project features models Harrison Page and Estian Govea in a series of gritty, narrative-driven scenes that evoke a retro detective thriller. The imagery utilizes a deliberate low-key and chiaroscuro lighting style to build tension, oscillating between warm, nostalgic diner interiors and cold, industrial urban settings. With casting by Bronson Vajda, the project relies on analogue film techniques, grainy textures, and authentic vintage styling to ground the story in a documentary-style perspective.
