Givenchy
Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Jul 2023
The Givenchy Fall 2023 ad campaign represents a masterclass in modern luxury fashion, effectively balancing the house's storied heritage with a sharp, contemporary edge. Under the visionary creative direction of Matthew M. Williams, the imagery leans into a narrative of elevated minimalism, where structural tailoring meets unexpected, high-octane color pops. Photographed by Heji Shin, the series utilizes studio strobe and soft natural light to emphasize the rich tactility of leather accessories and silk textiles, creating a visual language that feels both precise and effortlessly fluid. Art directed by Edouard Risselet and styled by Carine Roitfeld, the campaign features a diverse cast including Mona Tougard, Karolina Spakowski, and Liu Wen, whose poise grounds the avant-garde sunglasses and oversized silhouettes. The set design by Manon Everhard uses raw, textured wooden elements to contrast against seamless beige backdrops, allowing the clean lines of the Givenchy handbags and footwear to remain the undisputed focus. With grooming contributions from hair stylist Gary Gill and makeup artist Stephane Marais, the project thrives on a polished editorial aesthetic that feels at once intimate and expansive. By expertly blending studio strobe technicality with a lifestyle editorial sensibility, the campaign captures a definitive moment for the brand, ensuring each piece—from the metallic clutches to the vibrant stilettos—resonates with the sophisticated, forward-thinking audience synonymous with modern French luxury.
