Genny
Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Aug 2023
For the Genny Fall 2023 ad campaign, the Italian luxury fashion house masterfully pivots toward a vision of architectural elegance that feels both grounded and aspirational. Under the meticulous creative direction of Sara Cavazza Facchini, the project translates Genny’s heritage into a contemporary language defined by structural precision and raw, minimalist textures. Photographer Dario Cattelani captures this duality by placing talent Karolina Kurkova within stark, monochromatic environments that juxtapose the softness of human form against the cold, tactile surfaces of marble and terrazzo. Throughout the series, stylist Alex White highlights the collection’s focus on tailored silhouettes and high-impact textiles, ranging from fluid tuxedo suiting to voluminous faux-fur layers. By leaning into the nuanced possibilities of natural light, the campaign achieves a crisp, editorial clarity that allows the clothing—particularly the high-shine sequined garments and signature silver hardware—to serve as the primary focal point. These commercial portraits manage to balance an effortless lifestyle sensibility with the demanding rigor of high-end fashion photography. The result is a cohesive visual narrative that speaks to the modern woman’s affinity for clean lines and statement-making design, effectively grounding the brand’s luxury identity in a space that feels timeless rather than fleeting. Every element, from the deliberate posture of the model to the carefully chosen architectural backdrops, reinforces the label's commitment to sophisticated, deliberate artistry.
