G-Star G-Star CLASSIQ 2026

About

G-Star CLASSIQ redefines the intersection of utility and high-end aesthetics, delivering a campaign that leans into the rugged heritage of denim while embracing a modern, European-centered luxury fashion perspective. Captured by photographer Jorin Koers, the collection finds its rhythm amidst the architectural grandeur of historic city streets, where models Sergio Amore and Wylber Flores Marte navigate the urban landscape with an air of quiet, authoritative confidence. The visual narrative relies heavily on a sophisticated editorial fashion aesthetic, utilizing low-angle perspectives to emphasize silhouette and structure against neoclassical facades. By employing natural light and a mix of high-key and chiaroscuro-inspired black and white portraiture, the campaign allows the intricate textures of raw indigo and beige utilitarian fabrics to take center stage. There is a palpable sense of movement and stillness playing off one another, with blurred urban traffic contrasting against the static, powerful poses of the subjects. Casting director Michiel van Maaren provides a cast that grounds the clothing in a relatable yet elevated reality, turning everyday crosswalks into a stage for contemporary style. The result is a cohesive, lifestyle-driven showcase that avoids unnecessary artifice, instead choosing to focus on the craftsmanship of the garments through clean compositions and a refined, minimalist sensibility that resonates deeply within the modern fashion industry.
