FWRD
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Aug 2024
The FWRD Fall 2024 ad campaign masterfully leans into the tension between analog vanity and high-fashion minimalism. Featuring Kendall Jenner as the central talent, the project channels a sophisticated aesthetic that oscillates between stark, monochromatic editorial portraiture and surreal, media-obsessed tableau. Photographer Sonia Szóstak orchestrates a visual narrative where Jenner is framed by vintage CRT television sets and raw technical hardware, creating a compelling dialogue between the subject and her own digital reflection. The execution relies on precise studio strobe lighting to emphasize the tactility of the collection, from structured trench coats and form-fitting leather dresses to sheer hosiery and sleek tailoring. Stylist Malina Joseph Gilchrist anchors the look with an uncompromisingly clean palette, allowing the focus to remain on the silhouette and material texture. The project’s visual language is defined by a rigorous commitment to editorial minimalism, punctuated by occasional pops of vibrant terracotta red that disrupt the otherwise neutral, desaturated environment. With hair by Tamas Tuzes and set design by James Rene, the campaign reads as a polished, cinematic exploration of luxury fashion. By stripping away extraneous detail, the imagery highlights the interplay of light and form, positioning the garments as sculptural elements within a controlled, high-end commercial context that feels both nostalgic and distinctly contemporary.
