Forces of Nature is a fashion editorial series for AnOther Magazine that explores the intersection of athletic environments and contemporary design. Photographed by Marie Valognes, the project utilizes a documentary-style approach to capture the human form against institutional backdrops like gymnasiums and locker rooms. The series balances raw, grainy textures with clean, structured fashion styling to create a visceral visual narrative. Styling by Agata Belcen frames the models in diverse ensembles, from technical leather outerwear to embellished knitwear. With hair by Claire Grech, casting by Chouaib Arif, and manicures by Melvyn Renaud, the editorial leans into a palette of warm, earthy tones and moody chiaroscuro lighting. Through varied compositions, the work highlights sculptural details and physical movement within its intimate, analogue-inspired frames.
