Fendi
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Jan 2025
Fendi channels an airy, Mediterranean spirit for its Spring 2025 ad campaign, grounding its latest luxury offering in a palette of soft, stucco-like pinks and the organic, shifting silhouettes of olive branches. This commercial and lifestyle-focused production serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, where the focus remains steadfastly on the intricate craftsmanship of the house’s iconic Peekaboo handbags and seasonal textiles. Photographer Steven Meisel brings a refined clarity to the series, utilizing bright natural light and occasional studio strobe to accentuate the tactile interplay between leather, fringe, and delicate embroidery. With creative direction from Silvia Venturini Fendi, the project breathes life into a quintessential Roman aesthetic, expertly styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele to marry architectural structure with effortless grace. The imagery, featuring models Karolina Spakowski, Lina Zhang, and Mona Tougaard, leans into a narrative of serene elegance, further elevated by the precision of makeup artist Pat McGrath. Mary Howard’s set design acts as a quiet anchor, allowing the interplay of dappled shadows and gravel textures to frame the collection against a clean, monochromatic backdrop. Ultimately, the campaign functions as a sophisticated dialogue between high-fashion heritage and contemporary ease, proving that the most resonant brand messaging often finds its strength in the deliberate simplicity of light, shadow, and impeccable composition.
