Elgin: Brand Identity
Nov 2024
The Elgin brand identity project encompasses a cohesive suite of assets for a restaurant environment, led by graphic designer Davy Denduyver and photographer Amanda Tho Phạm. The work establishes a visual language defined by bold typography and a consistent green palette, visible across leather-bound menu design, apparel, and storefront signage. Captured through editorial and lifestyle photography, the execution leans into a warm, inviting atmosphere. The imagery utilizes natural light and documentary-style framing to connect the printed collateral—ranging from curated wine lists to small-plate menus—with the tactile, wooden textures of the dining space. The project maintains a clean aesthetic across both static and moving formats, emphasizing the integration of branding within a hospitality setting. From the details on staff apparel to the layout of the beverage menu, the design work functions as a complete extension of the Elgin restaurant experience.
