Description

Captured for Dust Magazine China, "Crimes Against Fashion" is a cinematic fashion editorial that reimagines the tropes of the interrogation room. Through a series of stylized, suspenseful vignettes, the project leans into a moody, neo-noir aesthetic that juxtaposes high-end tailoring against gritty, cinematic narrative elements. Photographer and creative director Tre Koch leads the visual execution, utilizing directional lighting and high-contrast chiaroscuro to build tension within the sparse, minimalist sets. The series features models Alla Kostromichova, Hsin-Yu Liu, and Miguel Folgoso, with styling by Jorge Garcia Valero. The wardrobe reflects a mid-century influence, anchored by 1960s-inspired silhouettes, sleek tailoring, and statement accessories. With hair by Yumiko Hikage and makeup by Hugo Villard, the editorial maintains a clean, controlled finish that grounds the dramatic, retro-inflected storytelling.
