Double Jeux

Apr 2026
Double Jeux is a striking editorial fashion campaign commissioned by Duel Magazine that serves as a masterclass in minimalist visual storytelling. The project leans into high-concept styling and monochromatic palettes, using a clean studio environment to strip away artifice and place total focus on the architectural form of the garments. By alternating between stark neutral grey backdrops and punchy, vibrant orange surfaces, the imagery creates a rhythmic visual tension that mirrors the duality implied in its title. The project employs a refined blend of techniques, including studio strobe lighting and natural light, to highlight the tactile qualities of luxury materials like ostrich feathers, intricate lace, and heavy-gauge ribbed knits. Through the deliberate use of macro photography and editorial portraiture, the creative execution explores the relationship between high fashion accessories and the human figure, turning every frame into a study of texture and shadow. The project captures an intimate, contemplative mood, bolstered by the emotive performance of model Sean Levy. With hair styling by Nelson D, the portraits maintain an aura of sophisticated, polished precision. The work excels in its simplicity, proving that when the focus is narrowed to the essential interplay of silhouette and fabric, the result is a timeless, evocative expression of contemporary luxury house aesthetics that feels both sharp and inherently modern.
