Dries Van Noten presents Beauty Gestures, a series of editorial portraits that examine the tactile relationship between personal care and textiles. The project documents a range of intimate movements, from the application of cosmetics to the adjustment of silk garments, emphasizing a minimalist aesthetic. The series features photography by Melanie + Ramon, who utilize soft lighting to accentuate skin textures and fabric details. This editorial work incorporates natural light and clean compositions to highlight human gestures. The project includes contributions from hair stylist Ramona Eschbach, makeup artist Karin Westerlund, and manicurist Anatole Rainey, with on-camera talent including Eddy Earl and Ivy Stewart.
