DoorDash spotlights the human side of food delivery in its latest commercial spot, Newcomer. The film centers on an experienced restaurant owner managing her kitchen, detailing the process from order fulfillment to the final packaging of a meal. Crafted with a clean, live-action technique, the production highlights the meticulous nature of independent food service. The narrative leans into a grounded atmosphere, utilizing soft indoor lighting to capture the textures of a professional kitchen environment before the final delivery. Creative agency Superette developed the campaign, with production support from MikeTeevee, KIN Films, and WORK UK. Post-production and VFX were managed by MikeTeevee, with sound and music provided by DaHouse Audio.
