Delpozo
'Obertura' Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Sep 2024
For the Delpozo Obertura Fall 2024 campaign, creative visionaries Enrique Mellado and Joaquín Trías orchestrate a visual poem that transcends traditional luxury fashion advertising. Starring the incomparable Tilda Swinton, the campaign leans into an ethereal narrative, positioning the subject as a solitary, contemplative gardener amidst an expansive, wildflower-drenched meadow. This high-concept editorial work, brought to life through the steady lens of cinematographer José Luis Bernal and the directorial expertise of DVEIN, prioritizes a cinematic fluidity that blurs the lines between haute couture and the raw, unscripted beauty of the natural world. Swinton, styled by Jerry Stafford with hair by Malcolm Edwards and makeup by Sam Bryant, becomes an extension of the lush, sun-drenched landscape, her pink sequined garments acting as a shimmering, synthetic contrast to the organic chaos of the echinacea and purple blooms. By utilizing natural light and an expertly shallow depth-of-field, the production team manages to capture a quiet, intimate connection between the subject and her environment. The resulting imagery is undeniably dreamlike, utilizing cinematic techniques to emphasize the tactile interplay between light, shadow, and heavy embellishment. With production and post-production handled by Sauvage.TV and evocative original music by Olivier Arson, the project successfully captures the poetic essence of the Delpozo brand, inviting viewers into a world where high fashion finds its most honest expression in the quiet, golden hours of the outdoors.
