The Approach, a fashion editorial project for Crosscurrent, explores a minimalist visual language across a series of studio and outdoor portraits. Led by creative director Clarke Rudick and photographer Phil Engelhardt, the series highlights structured silhouettes and monochromatic textures through a grounded, editorial lens. Stylist Xenia May Settel curates an array of sculptural garments, ranging from voluminous sleeves to floor-length overcoats. The imagery utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to maintain a clean, consistent aesthetic, with model Thea Almqvist featured across the outdoor and studio compositions. Hair stylist Joe Burwin and makeup artist Rebecca Wordingham complete the look, emphasizing precise, graphic styling throughout the collection.
