In Waiting is a fashion editorial project for Crosscurrent, characterized by a minimalist and raw aesthetic. Captured by photographer Anders Edström under the creative direction of Clarke Rudick, the series features model Akti Konstantinou in a collection of sculptural garments, ranging from structured wool coats to draped floor-length cape dresses. The visuals lean into a tactile, analogue film quality, with the compositions set against distressed, unfinished interiors that highlight architectural textures. The styling, curated by Akeem Smith, emphasizes clean lines and monochromatic silhouettes, supported by hair styling from Louis Ghewy and makeup by Manu Kopp. The project utilizes natural light to accentuate both the complex drapery of the apparel and the weathered environment.
