Crosscurrent
A room with a view

Apr 2026
In A Room With A View, Crosscurrent leans into a raw, introspective aesthetic that captures the intersection of high-end fashion and intimate portraiture. This fashion campaign, brought to life through the lens of photographer Krisztián Éder, strips back the artifice often found in luxury campaigns, favoring a clean and minimalist approach that centers entirely on the human form. By utilizing 35mm film and analogue photography techniques, the project achieves a tactile, authentic quality where fine grain and natural light become as much a part of the narrative as the garments themselves. The editorial work moves between high-contrast chiaroscuro compositions and soft, natural lighting, highlighting the structural precision of the clothing against the vulnerability of the subjects. Fashion editor and stylist Alex Harrington plays a crucial role in curating the visual language, blending structured tailoring with moments of unbuttoned, emotive spontaneity. Casting director Rachel Chandler brings a distinct, grounded energy to the series, while hair stylist Tamas Tuzes leans into natural, voluminous textures that anchor the cinematic feel. Under the executive production of Francesca Valente, the collection is unified by a sense of quiet reflection, creating a series of portraits that feel simultaneously timeless and contemporary. The resulting imagery is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, proving that when the background is simplified to its essence, the interplay of shadow and fabric speaks volumes.
