Winter 2023 Ad Campaign
Date

Dec 2023

Description

The Coperni Winter 2023 ad campaign masterfully leans into the juxtaposition of high-end luxury fashion and whimsical narrative, creating an unforgettable visual lexicon that feels both curated and delightfully absurd. Under the vision of creative directors Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, alongside creative leads Charles Levai and Kevin Tekinel, the campaign moves beyond traditional product photography to place iconic accessories—the structured leather handbags, metallic footwear, and minimalist belts—in a surreal, feline-inhabited landscape. Photographer Charly Gosp captures these interactions with precision, utilizing studio strobe techniques to highlight the tactile contrast between the glossy finish of luxury hardware and the soft, organic texture of the various kittens featured throughout the series. Set designer Mathilde Vallantin Dulac constructs a world of artificial snow and miniature, staged tableaux that frame these commercial scenes with a deliberate, editorial minimalism. Whether a kitten is peering out from a matte red boot or inspecting a laundry line of miniature garments, the campaign treats the accessories as centerpieces within a playful, story-driven environment. By marrying the brand’s avant-garde identity with an approachable, lighthearted aesthetic, the imagery avoids the coldness often associated with luxury fashion houses, instead opting for a cinematic approach that invites the viewer to linger on every detail, from the crisp brand typography to the carefully arranged, snowy studio backdrop.
