Chanel
Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Mar 2025
The Chanel Spring 2025 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in luxury fashion storytelling, seamlessly weaving together the maison's storied heritage with a contemporary, high-fashion sensibility. Captured by the esteemed photography duo Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign balances the intimacy of the portrait with the grandeur of the iconic Grand Palais in Paris. The visual narrative moves between stark, studio strobe compositions—which prioritize the tactile richness of classic tweed, intricate lace, and metallic sequins—and sweeping, cinematic wide-angle shots that frame the models within the vaulted, light-filled architecture of the Grand Palais. Featuring a collective of striking talent including Ella Mccutcheon, Nigina Sharipova, Amar Akway, and Libby Bennett, the project leans into a sophisticated monochrome palette. The juxtaposition of structured, tailored suits against ethereal, flowing capes and delicate feather detailing creates a rhythmic tension throughout the imagery. Employing both clean editorial minimalism and dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, the campaign avoids excessive artifice, allowing the signature quilted handbags and sharp, geometric tailoring to take center stage. Ultimately, the work functions as both a commercial showcase and an evocative lifestyle exploration, successfully honoring Chanel’s timeless design language while maintaining an urgent, polished relevance through the innovative use of live-action techniques and nuanced, high-contrast black-and-white photography that defines the modern luxury aesthetic.
