Chanel Haute Horlogerie

May 2026
Chanel defines the intersection of heritage and precision in this latest Haute Horlogerie campaign, a masterclass in editorial minimalism that strips away the noise to let craftsmanship take center stage. Under the photographic lens of Kayla Connors, the series utilizes high-key beauty light to accentuate the tactile luxury of Chanel’s signature timepieces, from the diamond-dusted J12 to the delicate, ribbon-strapped floral motifs. The creative direction leans into a stark, neutral white backdrop, allowing the interplay of light and shadow to highlight both the intricate engineering of the watches and the refined silhouettes of the featured fashion. Styling by Katie Shaw bridges the gap between classic couture and modern accessory design, pairing the watches with textured tweed and fine lace to reinforce the house's storied identity. With slick, architectural hair by Rudi Lewis and polished, clean makeup by Manu Kopp, model Mathilda Gvarliani delivers a series of intense, direct-to-camera portraits that feel both cinematic and profoundly intimate. Every frame serves as a testament to the power of deliberate, soft lighting and graphic composition, proving that when the focus is sharpened to a singular point of luxury, the impact is undeniable. This project stands as a definitive visual manifesto for the jewellery and fashion industry, perfectly balancing the cold precision of horology with the warm, expressive nature of human artistry.
