Oral Fixation is a fashion editorial feature for Cara Magazine, exploring the intersection of modern street style and domestic ritual. Photographed by Mauro Maglione, the series centers on subjects engaging with various vessels and accessories, leaning into a raw, documentary-style approach to portraiture. The imagery oscillates between high-contrast flash photography and diffused natural light, emphasizing texture and candid movement. Stylist Judit Melis curates a wardrobe of architectural silhouettes and utility-driven layers, ranging from oversized trench coats and pinstriped shirting to ornate body chains. Supporting the visual narrative, hair stylist Andrea Idini and makeup artist Mayumi Oda refine the subjects’ individual aesthetics, contributing to the project’s cohesive editorial tone.
