Bottega Veneta
Pre-Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Oct 2024
For the Pre-Spring 2025 ad campaign, Bottega Veneta under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy presents a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away extraneous noise to focus entirely on the house’s signature tactile depth. Photographed by Louise and Maria Thornfeldt, the campaign relies on a stark, neutral grey concrete backdrop that serves as the perfect canvas for a bold interplay of primary colors and complex materials. The imagery leans into the brand’s heritage of craft, highlighting intricate textures—from signature woven leather and crocodile-embossed clutches to heavy-gauge cable knits and sharp, double-breasted tailoring—with a clinical, high-end precision. By utilizing both natural light and controlled studio strobe, the team creates an even, soft illumination that emphasizes the rich, varied surfaces of the garments and accessories. Featuring a diverse cast including Hedi Ben Tekaya, Lina Zhang, and Mohammed Banze, the portraiture is elevated by the precise hair styling of Duffy and the graphic, evocative makeup artistry of Pat McGrath. Every frame feels deliberate, balancing the quiet, architectural rigidity of the setting with the vibrant, layered styling. This campaign reinforces Bottega Veneta as a leader in luxury fashion, where the focus remains steadfast on the physical, artisanal quality of the product, presented through a clean, sophisticated lens that avoids excess in favor of pure, resonant visual storytelling.
