Bottega Veneta

Fall 2026 Ad Campaign
Date

Apr 2026

Description

For the Fall 2026 campaign, Bottega Veneta leans into a study of tactile architecture, masterfully balancing the tension between movement and stillness. Under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, this collection translates the house's signature intrecciato craftsmanship into a series of stark, cinematic vignettes. Captured through the lens of photographer Chris Rhodes and directed by Stephen Kidd, the imagery flows from domestic quietude to the rhythmic, industrial geometry of European urban landscapes. The project utilizes a sophisticated interplay of natural light and high-contrast studio strobe lighting to emphasize the profound textural depth of the garments—from voluminous shaggy fur and raw-edged fringe to the precision-woven leathers that define the brand's heritage. Casting director Anita Bitton assembles a cast featuring models such as Malick Bodian and Leon Dame, whose grounded, contemplative presence anchors the editorial minimalism of the campaign. Whether focusing on the macro detail of a sequined cuff or the sculptural silhouette of a full-length coat against wet asphalt, the work functions as a meditation on material presence. With hair and makeup artistry by Sigrid Kumpfmüller that favors a raw, lived-in aesthetic, the campaign eschews artifice to celebrate the tactile reality of luxury. It is a rigorous, elegant exploration of how modern attire occupies space, resulting in a cohesive visual language that feels both timeless and distinctly grounded in the current moment.
