Bottega Veneta
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Nov 2025
For its Fall 2025 campaign, Bottega Veneta leans into a surreal, narrative atmosphere, casting aside the typical artifice of luxury fashion to embrace a more intimate, cinematic visual language. Shot at the New York home of photographer and videographer Duane Michals, the campaign moves beyond traditional commercial framing to deliver an editorial series that reads as a poetic exploration of scale, memory, and artifice. Featuring actor Jacob Elordi as the central subject, the imagery masterfully weaves themes of puppetry and abstraction, utilizing the interplay between weathered props—such as rustic wooden tables and vintage rocking chairs—and the striking, distorted reflections of a circular mirror. The campaign makes sophisticated use of low-key chiaroscuro and soft natural light, maintaining a monochromatic, black-and-white palette that feels both timeless and evocative. Under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, the project maintains a minimalist aesthetic, allowing the texture of the garments and the nuanced expressions of the talent to take center stage. By incorporating elements like dangling marionettes and floating feathers, the work creates a whimsical, philosophical quality. Through this distinctive visual approach, Bottega Veneta succeeds in elevating a standard fashion campaign into an expansive, thought-provoking narrative that celebrates the intersection of high fashion, art, and the personal, domestic spaces where creativity truly resides.
