Boloria
2026 Ad Campaign

May 2026
For the Boloria 2026 ad campaign, creative director and photographer Willy Vanderperre explores the tension between structured atelier craftsmanship and the raw, untamed elements of the natural world. This expansive luxury fashion campaign pivots between two distinct visual languages: one rooted in the quiet, tactile intimacy of the design studio, and the other in the surreal, windswept isolation of coastal dunes. Throughout the series, the aesthetic leans into editorial minimalism, utilizing high-key lighting to emphasize the intricate tailoring of sharp-shouldered blazers and deconstructed silk garments. The use of 35mm film and chiaroscuro techniques adds a cinematic depth, grounding the high-fashion portraits in a sense of timeless elegance. From close-up studies of raw basting stitches and metallic shears to wide, atmospheric shots of models placed against desolate landscapes, the campaign suggests a narrative of creative process and human connection. Expertly supported by hair styling from Louis Ghewy and makeup by Miranda Joyce and Lynsey Alexander, the imagery remains consistently polished yet emotive. Boloria’s commitment to a refined, serif-based visual identity anchors these disparate settings, resulting in a cohesive, conceptual portfolio that elevates the brand as a leader in contemporary, high-end design through a sophisticated balance of light, texture, and silence.
