Beyond Noise presents Jacqui, a monochromatic editorial series photographed by Hedi Slimane. The project captures model Jacqui Hooper through a collection of high-contrast, direct portraits that utilize natural light to emphasize sharp textures and facial contours. Spanning both outdoor urban environments and controlled settings, the work leans into a cinematic, clean aesthetic. With casting directed by Julia Lange and makeup artistry by Eddy Liu, the series relies on minimal staging to highlight the subject. Editor-in-chief Sarah Richardson oversees the project, which employs analogue film techniques to achieve its distinct high-contrast, low-key look.
