Beyond Noise presents 'Emily,' a high-contrast editorial project featuring model Emily Ratajkowski. Photographed by Larissa Hofmann, the series leans into a monochrome aesthetic that prioritizes sculptural form and tactile detail through the use of analogue film and low-key chiaroscuro lighting. The project features fashion styling by Francesca Burns, who curates a minimalist wardrobe that shifts between structured avant-garde garments and sheer lace elements. Set design by Spencer Vrooman provides both stark studio backdrops and intimate, wood-panelled interior spaces, grounding the portraits in a balanced mix of gritty and clean visual textures. Additional contributions include hair styling by Jimmy Paul, makeup by Emi Kaneko, and casting by Julia Lange, with manicures provided by Honey. The work captures a refined, cinematic study of the subject through varied studio settings.
